AI Usage and Data Disclosure
Effective date: April 4, 2026
This policy explains how AI-enabled features within vEdition are framed for commercial customers and evaluators.
1. AI-assisted, not fully autonomous
vEdition assists with tutorial drafting and voice generation, but customers remain responsible for review, factual accuracy, legal compliance, and suitability of the resulting output.
2. Typical AI input
Inputs may include action summaries, window labels, generated step descriptions, editable narration text, target language, and chosen voice parameters.
3. Typical AI output
Outputs may include short instructional scripts, voice audio, narration variants, and workflow suggestions derived from the captured action structure.
4. What stays local by design
The product is described as a desktop workflow where source screen video and local session artifacts remain on the user machine unless the user exports or uploads them outside the product.
5. Payment model for AI
AI usage is always paid separately by the customer through the customer’s own provider account and API key. The software purchase price does not include ongoing third-party AI usage.
6. Known risks
AI output can be incomplete, overly generic, factually wrong, stylistically unsuitable, or inconsistent with a customer’s compliance obligations. Human review remains mandatory before publication.
7. Sensitive content restriction
Customers should avoid sending confidential, regulated, privileged, or restricted data to AI providers unless they have independently confirmed a lawful basis and an acceptable processor posture.
